Hormonal Health

When your hormones feel like they're working against you — they're actually crying out for support.

I know what it feels like to live in a body that doesn't feel like your own.

The exhaustion that goes deeper than tired. The mood shifts that seem to come from nowhere. The weight that won't budge no matter what you do. The brain fog, the low drive, the feeling that something is just fundamentally off — and nobody has been able to tell you why.

Hormonal imbalance doesn't discriminate. It affects men and women alike — and yet for so many people, the connection between how they're feeling and what their hormones are doing has never been properly explored.

I've experienced my own hormonal challenges firsthand — living with adenomyosis taught me exactly how isolating, overwhelming and misunderstood hormonal conditions can be, and how much changes when you finally find an approach that actually works.

That experience shapes everything about how I sit with every patient in this space — regardless of who they are. I don't dismiss. I don't minimise. And I never tell you it's okay to feel the way you're feeling just because it's common.

Common is not the same as optimal. And you deserve to know the difference.

Your hormones are not your enemy

Hormones are messengers. When they're dysregulated, they're not malfunctioning — they're signalling. Something in the body's environment has shifted, and your hormonal system is responding to that shift the only way it knows how.

My role is to understand what that signal is telling us — and to address the underlying drivers rather than simply quieting the message.

Conditions & symptoms I work with

  • Adenomyosis & endometriosis

  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

  • Perimenopause & menopause

  • Irregular, painful or heavy periods

  • PMS & PMDD

  • Fertility challenges & cycle irregularities

  • Post-pill hormonal recovery

  • Hormonal acne & skin changes

For men:

  • Low testosterone & androgen deficiency

  • Adrenal fatigue & burnout

  • Fertility & sperm health

  • Mood instability & irritability

  • Loss of drive, motivation & libido

  • Unexplained weight gain — particularly around the abdomen

  • Hair thinning & changes in body composition

For everyone:

  • Thyroid dysfunction — both underactive & overactive

  • Insulin resistance & blood sugar dysregulation

  • Fatigue & low energy linked to hormonal imbalance

  • Brain fog & poor concentration

  • Mood dysregulation & anxiety

  • Sleep disruption

  • Unexplained weight changes

What drives hormonal imbalance?

Hormonal conditions rarely have a single cause. What I look for is the full picture — the underlying factors that have created the environment for imbalance to take hold. These commonly include:

  • Oestrogen dominance & progesterone deficiency

  • Gut health & the oestrobolome — how your gut processes and clears hormones

  • Liver detoxification & hormonal clearance

  • Nutritional deficiencies — iron, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins & vitamin D

  • MTHFR & methylation dysfunction affecting hormonal metabolism

  • Thyroid & adrenal involvement

  • Chronic stress & cortisol dysregulation

  • Environmental oestrogens — plastics, personal care products & chemical exposure

  • Insulin resistance & blood sugar dysregulation

How I work with hormonal health

Every hormonal case I see is unique — shaped by your history, your genetics, your lifestyle, and the specific pattern of imbalance your body has developed. I begin with a thorough case history and a careful review of any existing pathology, before building a treatment plan that addresses the root of what's driving your symptoms.

Treatment is comprehensive and layered — because hormonal health rarely responds to a single intervention. It may include nutritional medicine, herbal support, dietary and lifestyle modifications, detoxification support, and stress and nervous system care — all tailored specifically to you and what your body is asking for.

Whatever your experience, whatever your gender — you deserve to feel well in your own body. That's where we start.

Your hormones have been trying to tell you something. Let's finally listen.
